What should I wear for my LinkedIn headshot photo session?
James will discuss this with you prior to the session. We always recommend business appropriate clothing and of course that varies from industry to industry. Once you and James have agreed on a background colour for the session, he will be able to advise you on what colours and tones of clothing to wear for your LinkedIn headshot session. We will give you the chance to go and change outfits during your session, so it’s worth having a couple of, ideally contrasting, outfits ready for your shoot.
Do you offer hair and makeup services?
This isn’t a service that we offer ourselves, but we do have a network of hair and make up artists that we recommend around the UK. This is of course subject to availability.
What kind of background options do you have?
We have a stock of various backgrounds that can be used for your LinkedIn Headshot Photography session. Prior to your session, James will discuss the best options with you. If you would like to use a very specific brand colour, this is achieved by shooting the images against a plain background, which can be changed to your brand colour as part of the retouch process at no extra cost.
How long does a Linkedin headshot photography session typically last?
A LinkedIn headshot session with James lasts for around 30 minutes. This allows enough time for you to relax in to the session, and also gives you enough time to change into a second outfit. Please note that the setup/break down of the lighting and backdrop equipment takes around 30 minutes, so James will be with you for around an hour in total.
Will my images be edited?
Yes, our LinkedIn Headshot Photography package includes two fully retouched images.
The lighting at my home/office isn't great- will that be ok?
Please do not worry if the lighting where you plan to have your session isn’t very good. James will be bringing a small studio lighting set up with him that will over power any existing ambient light.
