When working with a brand as iconic as BBC Studios, “good lighting” isn’t enough. The imagery needs to sit naturally alongside their high-production-value marketing assets.
BBC Studios is a globally renowned content studio, channel operator, and streaming business. As a commercial powerhouse, they collaborate with world-class talent to produce some of the most acclaimed and beloved productions in television history—from the high-energy glamour of Strictly Come Dancing and the global preschool phenomenon Bluey, to the breathtaking, ground-breaking scale of Walking With Dinosaurs and Planet Earth.

Following our successful collaboration delivering a high-volume, live event headshot experience at their annual flagship Showcase 2025 event, we were invited to create a bespoke, “on-brand” headshot solution for their staff. Our goal was to ensure that their internal imagery reflected the same world-class production values that define their on-screen content.

BBC Studios
There is an undeniable energy to shooting at the iconic Television Centre in London. To meet the demands of a busy, high-energy environment, we deployed our signature high-volume studio workflow. Using our specialised on-site setup, team members were able to view their images instantly in a private gallery. This immediate feedback loop ensures that every team member leaves feeling confident and satisfied with their session. From this initial gallery, individuals selected their favorite headshots for final processing.
Once the selections were made, each image underwent a retouching and artworking process. We manually clipped each subject to apply the “pop-out” effect, integrating the BBC Studios brand gradient to create a unified, high-impact aesthetic.
