Headshot Company recently delivered a highly engaging expo headshot booth at Learning Technologies 2024 for Totara. 

Totara is a global company that makes talent development software for organisations such as the NHS and Amazon. As the main sponsor of the 25th Learning Tecnologies Conference, they were keen to make the most of their investment in the show, which included sponsoring the main meeting and cafe space.

Prior to the expo, we worked with Totara to plan where the headshot booth should be positioned. We decided on building a corner space into their stand design where we would shoot headshots. Building the space into their stand meant that we could include a grey ‘backdrop’ and would not need to set up background supports at the event. We also set up a custom capture form for Totara, meaning they could filter out potential customers from the data collected during registering for a headshot. 

The day before the event, we headed to the Excel and set up our shooting space. This included positioning QR codes around the stand that guests could use to register for their free headshot. In advance of the show, Totara also promoted the headshot giveaway on their social media channels.

Over the two days, we photographed over 400 people. Donna was playing two roles- assisting James and also helping drive traffic to the stand. The images and data from the expo were delivered to Totara in a matter of hours after the event.
