Headshot Company visited Google’s Central Saint Giles offices in London to photograph 150 team members from across Google and YouTube in just four hours.
Google needs little introduction. At its Central Saint Giles offices in London, colleagues from across Google and YouTube came together for a headshot day designed to give them something of lasting value.
The team approached Headshot Company to offer colleagues a professional portrait they could feel proud of and use across LinkedIn, internal profiles and future career opportunities.
The brief was to make the experience welcoming, easy to fit into the working day, and personal to each attendee. Alongside a relaxed, guided session, everyone could choose a classic light grey background or one of Google’s vibrant brand colours for their finished image.
In just four hours, we photographed 150 people.
A studio experience, at the office
We brought our portable headshot studio to Google, giving colleagues from several departments and offices the opportunity to update their professional image during the working day.
James photographed each person while Donna managed arrivals and kept the sessions flowing. Together, we made sure everyone received a warm welcome and clear guidance in front of the camera.
When photographing this many people, those small interactions matter. Our aim was to give the last person through the same care and attention as the first.

Your headshot. Your choice of background.
As part of the sign-up process, attendees could choose the background for their finished image: the light grey used during the shoot, or blue, red, yellow or green drawn from Google’s logo.
We photographed everyone against the same light grey background, then applied their chosen colour during editing. This kept the photography flowing smoothly while giving each person a choice of how their final portrait would look.
The resulting collection combines classic neutral headshots with bright, unmistakably Google colours, all with consistent lighting and finish.
150 headshots—ready to use instantly. Retouched the next day.
Across the four-hour session, we photographed 150 people. All attendees received their images instantly, ready to view, download and use straight away. Anyone happy with their headshots as photographed could start using them immediately, without waiting for retouching.
Attendees could also select their favourite for professional retouching and their chosen background colour. These finished portraits were delivered the following day, giving everyone both immediate access and a polished final image.
