Headshot Company was recently commissioned to photograph the team at Arkin Developments West Hampstead office in North West London. Arkin specialises in high-end property development, both residential and commercial, across London.
Arkin had not previously taken staff photographs, but was working with a London-based branding agency who had developed a mood board to illustrate the style they were gunning for. A cinematic, black and white portrait for each member of the team was required, and we would be shooting at the company’s offices, so a compact, yet highly controllable lighting set up was required.
The team headshots were taken in one day at their offices on West End Lane. We used a two light set up (one key light and a very subtle fill) along with a curved reflector to add a little something extra. See a shot of the set up we used below. It’s not often we are asked to shoot for black and white, but we think the finished images look fantastic and will serve the team at Arkin well, long into the future.
