When you’re the leading brand in a high-tech sector, your visual representation needs to be just as sharp and forward-thinking as your products. That was the brief when we were commissioned to photograph the senior leadership team at Nextbase, the award-winning, UK market leader in dashcam and connected car technology.

Founded in 1999, Nextbase has established itself as the pioneer and dominant force in the UK dashcam market, holding an impressive 80% market share by volume. Their commitment goes beyond providing high-definition footage; they focus on driver safety and innovation, introducing world-first features like Emergency SOS and operating the National Dash Cam Safety Portal, a not-for-profit initiative that aids police forces across the UK. They are, without question, the name in vehicle safety technology.

The Challenge: Seamless Service in Southwark

Nextbase needed a cohesive set of corporate headshots for their CEO and senior team. While their primary focus is technology, the shoot was logistics-focused for us: delivering a polished, uniform style for a high-level team on-site at their offices in Southwark, central London.

The goal was to create professional images that convey trust and authority while maintaining a modern, approachable feel and carrying some of the brand colours.

We brought our full mobile studio setup directly to their Southwark location. This ensured minimal disruption to the working day, allowing the busy executive team to pop in, get photographed, and return to their duties quickly. We chose a space that was conveniently tucked away so no one had an audience while having their headshots taken!

A key feature of this project was the final output. Nextbase opted for a modern, high-impact finish that included their corporate brand colours. We delivered professional “pop out” style headshots, where the subject stands out sharply against a subtly branded background, giving the images an immediate, recognisable corporate identity that looks superb on annual reports, ‘meet the team pages’ and email signatures.

The Virtual Headshot Plan B

As is often the case with senior teams, a few key members were travelling or unable to make the designated shoot date. To maintain the uniformity of the set and ensure no one was left out, Nextbase utilised our Virtual Headshot Service. This allowed us to create headshots for the absent team members in the exact same style, colour, and finish as the live shoot, guaranteeing a complete and consistent company gallery.
