Our mission: to capture professional headshots for the club’s dedicated hospitality team. This project exemplifies our commitment to providing seamless, high-quality staff headshot photography services across the UK, even in the challenging location of the heart of one of football’s most historic venues.
St. James’ Park, home to NUFC, is more than just a football stadium; it’s a landmark steeped in history. From its origins in 1892 to its modern-day status as a symbol of Newcastle’s passion for the beautiful game, the stadium has witnessed countless memorable moments. We were honoured to contribute to the professional image of the hospitality team who play a vital role in creating the match day experience for the fans that fill this historic ground.
However, this project presented unique on-location challenges. We were shooting in the directors’ box area, with half of the images captured outdoors and the other half indoors. The unpredictable Newcastle weather, with its rapidly changing conditions, tested our adaptability. At one point, the wind picked up significantly, threatening to topple our main light. Even our sandbags weren’t enough to secure it. In a true testament to team spirit and resourcefulness, the catering staff came to our rescue, providing us with a massive bag of rice to weigh down the light!
